The imaging ward of Omid Hospital includes sonography unit, radiology unit, CT SCAN unit (being installed and commissioned), and mammography unit (initial steps have been taken to purchase and set up) on a round-the-clock basis. Ultrasound unit:
In this unit, by using up-to-date ultrasound devices (fixed and portable) and experienced medical staff, in addition to simple ultrasound, clients can have ultrasounds such as caldapler, pregnancy, fetal anomaly, interventional measures (cyst aspiration, abscess, aggregation). Fluids and implants (PTC) and biopsy under ultrasound as well as FNA.
Radiology unit:
This unit, in addition to performing simple radiology using specialized (color) radiographs, includes specialized gastrointestinal radiographs (barium question, UPPER GI, small bowel transit, barium enema simple and double contrast, patchogram) and urogram system V.CUG urethrocystography, RUG retrograde urography, pylography (fistulography, cholangiography and so on) provide good services to outpatients and inpatients.
Activity hours / unit:
Ultrasound in this center is done in the morning and evening shifts every week from Saturday to Wednesday with an appointment in advance. It should be mentioned that if special preparation is needed before the sonography, the patient or his companion will be given the necessary training.
Radiology unit: The activity of the radiology unit for simple and emergency x-rays is done around the clock and for specialized x-rays with a previous appointment with the presence of a radiologist from Saturday to Wednesday in two shifts every week.
Specialized equipment of the department / unit:
Ultrasound is performed with the advanced Samsung RS80A device and special props for outpatients and inpatients. For critically ill patients admitted to the wards, a special portable device is used for ultrasound. Performing radiology services with up-to-date digital devices is a ceiling pillar that has a very good quality. Radiology services for critically ill patients admitted to wards are also performed with up-to-date portable digital devices.
